We bought this product for our two miniature schnauzers who are still puppies. They play rough, and these hold up well to the abuse they put them through. We did have to replace one, after it got chewed to pieces, but that was HOURS, over DAYS, of being chewed on in the kennel while we were away. The material is soft enough to not rub or irritate the dogs, but sturdy enough to put up with the shenanigans of puppies. The reflective strips are helpful at night, when our black dogs are running around in the backyard.
